There were two questions in the messages box about this, so I thought I would just answer both here: there aren’t really any specific summer programs by discipline. The only summer thing that happens is the freshman orientation a week before the rest of the school gets back. For a whole week, the campus is yours! There are activities to help you meet people, tours of the campus, workshops with professors, a ghost walk, and class registration for freshmen only.

Like I said, this usually happens the week before the rest of the school arrives. The only other people on campus with you are the house chairs of each house and peer mentors, who help to guide you through orientation and make a smooth transition to Bennington!
