My friend and coworker Kevin and I just checked out Young the Giant (neither of us had heard of them before) and had a mini jam session to them in the Admission’s Office.

As far as road trips go (or RTs as Kevin insists I call them), my two friends Maxine and India (fellow blog contributor) and I spent last long weekend doing what we called a 21+ tour of Vermont (21+ only because we toured two Vermont based breweries). In addition to getting our fill of tasty Vermont brews, we also visited Burlington, Shelburne, Middlebury and Fair Haven. It is very common for students to go on road trips over long weekends (we get one in the Fall and Spring). Canada, New York, Boston and D.C. are all popular destinations. When given a chance, students love exploring the East Coast.
