Pre-O trips are a great opportunity for you to have some fun and get to know a few of your fellow incoming classmates before the entire class arrives and you get on the hectic schedule of Orientation.

You get to campus early and spend a couple of days with 10 or so of your fellow newcomers being led on some sort of expedition by 2 current students.

These expeditions range from the very intense and outdoorsy (backpacking) to the fairly relaxed and comfortable (tour of VT).

If you decide to come to Bennington, when you make your deposit you will receive information about the specific trips available and how to register for them.

They’re a lot of fun. I promise. I made some of my best friends at Bennington on my Pre-O backpacking trip.
