Can you guys make a kind of "day in the life" post with input from different people in the admissions office on a normal day at Bennington? I don't know if there's already something like that here but I think it'd be cool. This is such a great blog :) — Asked by Anonymous

So last term this is what my Tuesdays looked like.

8:00 - Breakfast (if I was lucky enough to wake up).

9:00 - 10:00 - Traditional Music Ensemble

10:10 - 12:00 - Literary Diaries and Journals

12:00 - 12:15 - Lunch

12:15 - 1:00 - House Chair Meeting

1:00 - 2:00 - Lunch if I missed it earlier, sometimes an emergency Admissions tour, often an episode of Breaking Bad.

2:00 - 5:00 - Work in the Scene Shop.

5:00 - 6:00ish - Dinner

After this my nights would descend into efforts to procrastinate. Pickup volleyball, hanging out on the lawn, watching tv. Usually around 8:00 or so I would buckle down and start my work for the next day and would finish between 10:00 and midnight. After that I’d usually hangout with people in my house for an hour or two before bed. Or just watch a bit more TV.

Here’s Evan’s Tuesdays.

8:00 - Wake up

8:30 - 10:00 - Neurons, Networks and Behavior (with Amira!)

10:00 - 12:00 - Back to sleep

12:15 - 1:00 - House Chair Meeting

1:00 - 1:30 - Lunch

1:30 - 4:00 - Catch up on work

4:00 - 6:00 - Calculus (with Amira!)

6:00 - 6:30 - Dinner at the Studes

6:30 - 7:30 - hang out in the Bingham common room!

7:30 - 10:00 - more work-type stuff

10:00 - onward - the night begins

I think we’re relatively average.

Liam
