Are there any farmer's markets in the area? Or any other markets to get some good local organic vegan food? — Asked by Anonymous

Indeed there are. The Walloomsac Farmer’s Market is open on the riverwalk downtown (a few minutes away from campus) on Saturday mornings from 10-1, and in a building downtown on Tuesdays from 3-6. I believe that the market runs from May or June through late October. I’ve gone several times and gotten really great bread, pastries, and vegetables.
