I love the peeper frogs that emerge by the pond when the weather gets warmer. Last night was the second night they’ve been out so now it’s really Spring. I think that most people like the peepers even though they make quiet a racket if you are in proximity. My first term here I thought they were just really big crickets judging by the noise they make (it’s more of a melodic chirping than a ribbit-y sound) until an upperclassmen kindly informed me. Since then I’ve been trying to actually see one. So far the best I can do to catch a glimpse involves going on google images but I’m optimistic that this is the Spring for a sighting!
