Are there coffee-making machines within individual houses' kitchens? Or should I bring an electric kettle + french press, if I don't want to go to the dining hall every morning? And would I be able to light incense in my room? Also, how's the star-gazing? Sorry for the barrage of questions - your just such a helpful, accessible source! THANKS!

1. Often yes, but you should bring your own stuff if you want a reliable source of coffee anytime.
2. Campus Safety is not big on the incense.

Thank you for asking that question. It was so beautiful last night! Orion was incredibly bright and the MOON was so cool! The stars here (and the sky in general) are amazing. We have some spectacular sunsets and sunrises in addition to a beautiful starry sky on clear nights thanks to the fact that we have very little light pollution on campus. Also: RAINBOWS IN THE SPRING. I took this picture last year. We had three different rainbows that day.
