I went to go collect ants for my Neurons, Networks, and Behavior final the other day. Pictured (and slightly out-of-focus) are my two essential tools: aspirator and screwdriver. With caveman-like determination I use the screwdriver to hack the bark off of rotting trees, and then, quick as an anteater, suck ants from underneath up into the aspirator.
No, no one has ever actually seen me while doing this. There’s a reason I collect ants in solitude.

I just finished doing some reading for my Neurons, Networks, and Behavior class. Here’s a portion of my notes.
