Another wonderful three rounds of trivia, with a twist. First off, no speed round this week. Actually, make that two twists. The second twist was Two-Time Repeating Champion, Team Baby, did NOT win this week. In fact, they were SO disgusted with their own performance (coming in 3rd, 1 point back)…
Typical Bennington week:
- Learned how to THROAT SING from ethnomusicologist Theodore Levin in my Anthropology of Art class.
- Won this sweet pillow with my house at Trivia Night.
- 1 final essay down, three to go.
- Secured my field work term independent study: I get to hang out with a Smithsonian museum director to write about a controversial exhibition for my senior work. BOO YA.
- Got grab ‘n go from the student center (where we can order from the grill, hang out, get ready-to-go meals, buy stuff from the little store, watch movies, have concerts, WHATEVER) for almost every single meal.
- Tried to teach my academic advisor how to throat sing.
- Ha ha ha.
- Watched three X-Men movies while writing about the disinheritance of personal history in American realist novels.
- Watched this video A LOT.
- Got all my classes in the course registration lottery. NO GREENWALL FOR ME, BITCHEZ. (Registration takes place in the Greenwall auditorium; students who need to add or drop courses can get their registration forms signed by faculty there.)
- Finally got tired of those macrobiotic vegetarian noodles in the student center.
