Hi! Question 1: Is there a Bennington handbook/catalogue that contains everything there is to know about the school? Question 2: How do I keep my luscious locks groomed while on campus? — Asked by Anonymous

Hello!

1. I think your best bet is the Bennington website for info regarding everything from academics/the plan to housing and student resources. Our curriculum can also be found online under the “students” section of the website.

2. I’d be happy to chop yer hair when you get here! Trade you a haircut for some sweet potato fries w/ mayo anytime (you’re on your own for shampooing though).

On the Bennington website it asks "Where would you be if you were at the center of everything?" and "What do you think is possible that you once thought impossible?" Do we submit an answer to that? What is this for exactly? — Asked by Anonymous

If you choose to answer those questions, your answer gets sent to an admissions intern who then tries to start a conversation with you, often based on your answer.

If you don’t want to receive an email from someone like me, you probably shouldn’t answer.

crossettlibrary: The nominees have been announced….and BENNINGTON COLLEGE IS ONE OF THEM!!!  The Bennington College website has been nominated for Best School/University website in the 16th Annual Webby Awards. If you click on the link below, you can vote for Bennington College’s website.  The entire administration (and particularly the Communications Department) did some amazing work on the website.  It’s really forward-facing and has completely changed the typical college website template.
